Q-termo TSHC 15 Selbstregelnder Heizkabel Leistung bei +10°C: 15W/m • maximale konstante Kabeltemperatur +85°C • UV-beständig • Kabel kann zur Schneeschmelze an Dächern, Abflussrohren, Abwasserkanälen, Rohrleitungen, Verteilungsrohren, Entwässerungsrinnen, Bauteilen z. B. Maschinen und Geräten, zur Frostschutzbeheizung von Betonkonstruktionen verwendet werden. Der selbstregelnde Heizkabel ist ideal zur Frostschutzbeheizung von Rohrleitungen, Ventilen, Rinnen, Abwasserkanälen, Dächern, Behältern, zur Aufrechterhaltung der Prozesstemperatur usw. Er regelt seinen Leistungsumsatz (Temperatur) selbstständig entsprechend der Umgebungstemperatur. Selbstregelnde Kabel erfordern eine Überwachung und zur Steuerung des Kabelbetriebs wird eine Regelung verwendet. Kabeldurchmesser 6,7 mm / 12,8 mm. Hi there, I would like to install this Q-termo TSHC 15 cable on a roof gutter and downspout system that is approximately 18 metres long, and I would kindly like to ask whether the cable's maximum constant operating temperature of +85°C and its UV resistance make it suitable for permanent outdoor installation without additional protective covering. Furthermore, could you confirm whether a separate controller is required to operate it correctly, as stated in the product description?

Yes, this cable is made to sit outside permanently - it's UV resistant so sunlight won't damage the outer jacket, and +85°C as the max constant temperature is more than enough for gutters and downspouts. You will need a controller though, since it's a self-regulating cable and the specs clearly say it needs monitoring to manage how it runs - we have suitable thermostats/controllers in our heating cable accessories section. Just make sure to measure your gutter and downspout lengths properly so you order enough cable to cover the full 18 metres with a bit extra for the downspout drop.

Dobrý deň, zháňam vyhrievací kábel do odtokovej rúrky z klimatizácie pri kúrení, aby v mraze odtok nezamrzol. Klimatizácia má vyhrievanie vaničky.
Prosím o radu, čo by bolo z vášho sortimentu vhodné. Vyhrievacia dĺžka cca 2m, aký je priemer kábla?

Dobrý deň,
na ochranu odtoku kondenzátu pred zamrznutím by sme odporučili samoregulačný vykurovací kábel Qtermo TSHC 15 (výkon 15 W/m). Kábel sám upravuje výkon podľa teploty okolia, takže sa pri mraze zahreje a v teple nespotrebúva zbytočne. Je odolný voči UV žiareniu a výrobca ho určuje aj na ochranu potrubí a odtokov pred zamrznutím. Kábel sa dá skrátiť na potrebnú dĺžku, takže 2 m vyhrievanej dĺžky si z neho odmeriate. Výrobca ku káblom TSHC uvádza, že na riadenie ich prevádzky sa používa regulátor.
Priemer kábla: výrobca uvádza hrúbku 6,7 mm / 12,8 mm. Kábel je plochý, takže 6,7 mm je hrúbka a 12,8 mm šírka.

Ak by ste chceli hotovú sadu bez samostatného regulátora, je tu kábel Qtermo TSW 15/4. Má integrovaný príložný termostat a napájací kábel s vidlicou do zásuvky 230 V. Je však dlhý 4 m, takže je dlhší, než potrebujete.
