- Welches Werkzeug benötige ich zur Montage dieses Fittings? Press-Fittings erfordern spezialisierte Presszangen mit der richtigen Zangentyp (meist als B, F oder TH bezeichnet nach System) entsprechend der Maße und des Typs des Fittings - ohne korrektes Werkzeug kann die Verbindung nicht hergestellt oder überprüft werden.
- Wie erkenne ich, dass die Verbindung korrekt gepresst wurde? Bei hochwertigen Press-Fittings ist ein Presseindikator vorhanden (z. B. Dichtungsring, der bei unvollständigem Pressen austritt) - vor dem Einbetten in die Wand oder in den Estrich ist immer ein Drucktest des gesamten Systems durchzuführen.
- Kann die Verbindung nach dem Pressen gelöst werden? Nein, im Gegensatz zum gedrehten (gewundenen) Schraubanschluss ist die gepresste Verbindung dauerhaft und erfordert zum Trennen das Abschneiden des Fittings und das Austauschen durch ein neues.
- Muss die Montage durch einen Fachmann erfolgen? Ja, das Pressen der Fittings erfordert fachmännische Kenntnisse und korrekt kalibriertes Werkzeug - wir empfehlen, die Arbeit einem Heizungsbauer/Installateur zu überlassen, insbesondere bei Verbindungen, die in die Wand oder in den Estrich eingebettet werden und keine spätere Kontrolle zulassen.

IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
