- Welches Werkzeug benötige ich für die Montage dieses Fittings? Press-Fittings erfordern spezialisierte Presszangen mit der richtigen Zangentyp (häufig als B, F oder TH bezeichnet nach System) entsprechend der Abmessung und dem Typ des Fittings – ohne das richtige Werkzeug kann die Verbindung nicht hergestellt oder überprüft werden.
- Wie erkenne ich, dass die Verbindung korrekt gepresst wurde? Qualitativ hochwertige Press-Fittings haben einen Presseindikator (z. B. Dichtungsring, der bei unvollständiger Presse überläuft) – vor der Verpressung in die Wand oder in den Estrich ist immer ein Drucktest des gesamten Systems erforderlich.
- Kann die Verbindung nach dem Pressen getrennt werden? Nein, im Gegensatz zu verschraubten (gewindeten) Verbindungen ist die Pressverbindung dauerhaft und erfordert zum Trennen das Abschneiden des Fittings und das Austauschen durch ein neues.
- Muss die Montage durch einen Fachmann erfolgen? Ja, das Pressen der Fittings erfordert fachmännische Fertigkeiten und korrekt kalibriertes Werkzeug – wir empfehlen, die Arbeit einem Heizungsbauer/Installateur zu überlassen, insbesondere bei Verbindungen, die in die Wand oder in den Estrich verpresst werden und keine spätere Kontrolle ermöglichen.

IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
