- Welches Werkzeug wird benötigt, um diesen Fitting zu montieren? Press-Fittings erfordern spezialisierte Presszangen mit dem richtigen Klemmtyp (meist als B, F oder TH bezeichnet) entsprechend der Größe und des Typs des Fittings – ohne das richtige Werkzeug kann die Verbindung weder hergestellt noch überprüft werden.
- Wie erkenne ich, dass die Verbindung ordnungsgemäß gepresst wurde? Qualitativ hochwertige Press-Fittings haben einen Presseindikator (z. B. einen Dichtungsring, der bei unvollständiger Presse überläuft) – vor dem Einbetten in die Wand oder den Estrich ist es immer notwendig, den gesamten Systemdruck zu prüfen.
- Kann die Verbindung nach dem Pressen getrennt werden? Nein, im Gegensatz zu verschraubten Verbindungen ist eine gepresste Verbindung dauerhaft und erfordert zum Trennen, dass der Fitting abgeschnitten und durch einen neuen ersetzt wird.
- Muss die Montage durch einen Fachmann erfolgen? Ja, das Pressen von Fittings erfordert fachmännische Fertigkeiten und korrekt kalibriertes Werkzeug – wir empfehlen, die Arbeit einem Heizungsbauer/Sanitärinstallateur zu überlassen, insbesondere bei Verbindungen, die in die Wand oder in den Estrich eingebettet werden und nachher nicht mehr kontrollierbar sind.

IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders.
