- Welches Werkzeug wird benötigt, um diesen Fitting zu montieren? Press-Fittings erfordern spezialisierte Presszangen mit dem richtigen Typ der Klemme (häufig als B, F oder TH bezeichnet entsprechend des Systems), passend zur Größe und zum Typ des Fittings – ohne das richtige Werkzeug kann die Verbindung nicht hergestellt noch geprüft werden.
- Wie weiß ich, dass die Verbindung ordnungsgemäß gepresst wurde? Gute Press-Fittings haben einen Presseindikator (z. B. ein Dichtungsring, der bei unvollständiger Pressung austreten könnte) – vor dem Einbetonieren in die Wand oder in den Estrich muss immer eine Druckprobe des gesamten Systems durchgeführt werden.
- Kann die Verbindung nach dem Pressen gelöst werden? Nein, im Gegensatz zu einer verschraubten (gewindeverbindenden) Verbindung ist eine Pressverbindung dauerhaft und erfordert zum Lösen das Abschneiden des Fittings und den Austausch durch einen neuen.
- Muss die Montage durch einen Fachmann erfolgen? Ja, das Pressen von Fittings erfordert fachmännische Kenntnisse und korrekt kalibriertes Werkzeug – wir empfehlen, diese Arbeiten einem Heizungsbauer/Sanitärinstallateur überlassen, insbesondere bei Verbindungen, die in die Wand oder in den Estrich eingebettet werden, wobei keine spätere Kontrolle möglich ist.

IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
