- Welches Werkzeug benötige ich zur Montage dieses Fittings? Press-Fittings erfordern spezialisierte Presszangen mit der richtigen Typ-Backe (häufig als B, F oder TH bezeichnet entsprechend des Systems), die zum Durchmesser und Typ des Fittings passen – ohne das richtige Werkzeug kann die Verbindung nicht hergestellt noch überprüft werden.
- Wie erkenne ich, dass die Verbindung korrekt gepresst wurde? Bei hochwertigen Press-Fittings ist ein Presseindikator vorhanden (z. B. ein Dichtungsring, der bei unvollständiger Presse ausläuft) – vor dem Einbetten in die Wand oder in den Estrich muss immer eine Druckprüfung des gesamten Systems durchgeführt werden.
- Kann die Verbindung nach dem Pressen gelöst werden? Nein, im Gegensatz zu Schraubverbindungen ist eine Pressverbindung dauerhaft und erfordert zum Lösen das Abschneiden des Fittings und das Austauschen durch ein neues.
- Muss die Montage durch einen Fachmann erfolgen? Ja, das Pressen erfordert fachliche Kompetenz und korrekt kalibriertes Werkzeug – wir empfehlen, die Arbeit einem Heizungsbauer/Sanitärmeister anzuvertrauen, insbesondere bei Verbindungen, die in die Wand oder in den Estrich eingebettet werden, wobei keine spätere Kontrolle möglich ist.

IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
