- Welches Werkzeug benötige ich für die Montage dieses Fittings? Press-Fittings erfordern spezialisierte Presszangen mit dem richtigen Kiefertyp (häufig mit B, F oder TH bezeichnet nach System), der dem Maß und Typ des Fittings entspricht – ohne das richtige Werkzeug kann die Verbindung nicht hergestellt oder überprüft werden.
- Wie erkenne ich, dass die Verbindung richtig gepresst wurde? Qualitativ hochwertige Press-Fittings haben einen Presseindikator (z. B. Dichtungsrings, der bei unvollständiger Pressung austreten kann) – vor dem Einbetten in die Wand oder in den Estrich ist immer ein Drucktest des gesamten Systems durchzuführen.
- Kann die Verbindung nach dem Pressen getrennt werden? Nein, im Gegensatz zum verschraubten (drehbaren) Anschluss ist die gepresste Verbindung dauerhaft und erfordert zum Trennen das Abschneiden des Fittings und den Austausch durch ein neues.
- Muss die Montage von einem Fachmann durchgeführt werden? Ja, das Pressen von Fittings erfordert fachmännische Fertigkeiten und korrekt kalibriertes Werkzeug – wir empfehlen, die Arbeit einem Heizungsbauer/Installateur zu überlassen, insbesondere bei Verbindungen, die in die Wand oder in den Estrich eingebettet werden und nachher nicht mehr kontrollierbar sind.

IVAR has been producing heating and plumbing system components since 1985: valves for heating bodies, direct heat metering modules, heat cost allocators, pipes and fittings, substations for heating systems, distribution manifolds, radiant panel systems, and components for solar and geothermal systems. And it’s all “Made in Italy”.
Over 200 people are employed at our manufacturing facilities in Prevalle (in northern Italy’s Brescia province). The site has been designed to streamline our many production and operational stages.
The Italian headquarters also acts as a hub for the wider IVAR Group, set up with the goal of distributing products beyond Italy’s borders. The group now has 11 branches, in Australia, Belgium, China, Germany, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Spain, the United States and Tunisia.
